Pan-Seared Berbere Tilapia

Tilapia is such an easy and quick fish to cook that takes on whatever flavor you chose, which of course for me, is The Munching Box Berbere Today,  Gone Tomato!

It's so quick and so easy that the only real effort you have to put forward is to have the tilapia rinsed and dried.


4 Tilapia Fillets

Olive Oil Spray

1 TBSP Olive Oil

1 TBSP Berbere Today, Gone Tomato  Seasoning

Berbere Seasoning Blend


Rinse tilapia with cold water, pat dry, spray a light coat of olive oil spray and then rub with Berbere Today, Gone Tomato Seasoning.

Heat olive oil over medium-high heat in skillet.

Cook tilapia for approximately 4 minutes then flip over and continue to cook for 3-4 minutes until the tilapia starts to flake.

Transfer tilapia to plate and serve.

Here I made a simple mango, avocado, tomato and onion salsa as a topper and it was delightful!
